Thank you so much for all your support in the past, present and future. Without it, we could not be doing this work at all. I hope you’ll take the time to take a look at our new website where we detail the projects we are currently involved in as well as those we are hoping to take on as we are able. There’s a lot to be done but it’s been very gratifying to see how much difference we have been able to make in the lives of the children in these mountains. It has truly been a team effort with support from many people.

Current Projects
As you will read on our website, we are currently supplying hot meals to the school children of five mountain communities. This sustenance has proved invaluable in improving the health of these children who were previously suffering greatly from malnutrition. The improved diet has also resulted in the children being more alert and getting more out of their studies.
Another project we are working on has been made necessary by the devastating rains that occurred earlier year. Many families were made homeless as a result and we are helping one woman and her children in particular who were abandoned by their father. We hope that we will be able to help more such women in the future.Additional Projects
There are approximately 250 more children that are hoping to be helped by Living Heart. At present, we do not have the funds to be able to make a commitment to another community but are hoping to be able to do so with your help.
We have also been approached for help in refurbishing a building to be used as a medical clinic which would be located in the largest and poorest of the Valley communities and in a central location.
Other urgent needs include a 4x4 vehicle, as transporting food to the schools is one of our greatest expenses as the areas are so remote and high in the mountains.
